Mission Statement

The Illini Union Bookstore Faculty Liaison Committee advises the Bookstore staff on acquiring titles and inventory that meet the teaching, research and intellectual needs of the University community. It also facilitates communication between the academic community and the Bookstore.

Committee Charge

This committee serves as advisory committee to the Illini Union Bookstore.

Roster

• 8 faculty/staff members from across campus who have interest in the operation of the Bookstore
• 5 ex-officio members (Bookstore Director, Sr. Associate Director for Retail Operations, Illini Union Director, and Bookstore staff member)
• 3 students (the IU Board VP for Policy, and at least one Illini Union Bookstore student employee.)

Time Commitment

Meets twice each semester (fall and spring) in the Illini Union at lunch time, with lunch provided.
