International Education Committee

Mission Statement

Established in 2015, the committee’s mission is to enhance Student Affairs programs and services supporting international students and international education for all students, preparing the leaders of tomorrow in a diverse and global society.

Committee Charge

  • Improve the social climate and academic success of international students;
  • Improve domestic students’ appreciation of international students’ experiences and cultures;
  • Facilitate greater interactions and meaningful cultural exchange between international and domestic students; and
  • Enhance the global competencies of all students and of Student Affairs staff.

Time Commitment

Members meet monthly for about one hour.

Term Limit

Staff and student committee members will serve for a maximum of three consecutive years.
