Board of Fraternity Affairs

The board is the campus’ primary advisory body on policy for men’s fraternities, their governance and operations. The board performs a judicial function both as an appellate body and a forum of original jurisdiction for serious conduct problems.


6 student members (Black Greek Council President or designee; Interfraternity Council President or designee; United Greek Council President or designee; three fraternity presidents)
3 faculty/staff members
3 alumni members
2 ex officio members (Dean of Students; Assistant Dean of Students for Greek Affairs)

Time Commitment

The board meets every other week. There is no external time commitment; however, board members are occasionally required to attend IFC-related functions.

The Board of Fraternity Affairs is appointed on a different cycle and therefore not open for nominations to the Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs at this time.
