Calling ALL Student Photographers!
We know that there are LOADS of great photographers right here on campus. Some of them are actually in the Photography curriculum (more than half of the images for this site were actually taken by a student photographer) through Fine and Applied Arts. But we know that photography is an art that is shared by many. We'd like to develop a platform where Illinois students can share their love of the captured image.
What we want to do is showcase the best student shots for the world to see. We've thought about just how to do that, and we thought we'd put it out to you. What we'd like to do is to offer themes that truly represent the Illinois spirit (ie. "Show your Orange and Blue Colors"), but we'd like to get your feedback on other potential themes. We're coordinating this through the expertise and know-how of Public Affairs' Web Services' Web Tools (that would be three degrees of separation, right?).
