Your gift will go to La Casa Cultural Latina* to help enhance the services we provide to our students. Each dollar creates opportunities to enhance existing programs and move forward with new student initiatives at La Casa. Your gifts help enhance and improve:
- La Casa’s facilities - technology, audio-visual equipment, furniture
- Retention & Recruitment – META Retention Program, high school visits
- Student Publications – La Carta and the Latina/o Scrapbook, which offer hands-on experience for students interested in developing skills in the fine and applied arts, graphic design, journalism, political and social commentary, creative writing and education.
- Educational and cultural programming – speakers’ series, social justice workshops, Latina/o Month events
- Community Outreach – Pen Pal Program, Proyecto C.H.E. (Children for Higher Education), Latina/o College Night, Latina/o Youth Conference, Community Pláticas
*Your donation will go directly to the University of Illinois Foundation which then distributes the funds into La Casa’s account. The Student Affairs Advancement Office notifies La Casa of all financial contributions. The University of Illinois Foundation is a registered 501(c)3 organization, and as such, all gifts are tax deductible.
