Welcome to La Casa Cultural Latina!
Since its founding in 1974, La Casa has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to Latina/o students and the campus community, as well as local and global communities.La Casa reflects the diversity of Latina/o cultures and exemplifies el éxito Latino that shapes the Americas in our contemporary world.
All students, faculty, staff, and community members are welcomed and encouraged to participate in La Casa's many educational, cultural, and social advocacy programs.
La Casa Cultural Latina WELCOMES our NEW Director Lizette V. Rivera to campus.
Lizette comes to us from Triton Community College where she served as the Assistant Dean of Arts and Sciences / Title III Director. Before then, she was the director of TRIO - Upward Bound at the Richard Daley College. Lizette received her Masters of Public Administration at Roosevelt University and a double major in Sociology and Rhetoric at the University of Illinois. She is currently working on completing her doctoral work and expects to receive her Ed.D. later this year.
