What is the LENS program?

The LENS Diversity Certificate Program operates on a framework that
encourages students to view and explore diversity, social justice, and intercultural
relations through three perspective lenses: micro, meso, and macro.

o The micro-lens focuses on the individual's personal culture and the
intersection of identities
o The meso-lens focuses on the interpersonal relationships and cross-cultural
communication
o The macro-lens focuses on the institutional, societal, and cultural influences
in social justice
