Soul Permier Contemporary Ensemble, Soul Exxence A Capella Group, and Expressions Theater Troupe comprise the newest entities of this workshop collaborative. Through technical training the Academy workshops perform to enhance the visual and vocal expression of African American students. More info►

WBML

WBML Internet Radio Station

WBML is a student-run station that concentrates on radio and event production. Students learn to produce their own radio show to be aired on the streaming webcast network station. The workshop features popular music and community affairs programming. More info►

Griot

Griot Literary Magazine

The purpose of the GRIOT workshop is be a a vehicle for black expressive writing a well as a source of news and issues related to the experiences of African Americans on campus. The magazine includes book reviews, poetry, news, program highlights, black student organization information and calendar of events. More info►

OMNIMOV

Omnimov

This workshop features masters classes for those who have the desire to be creative, choreograph, and perform on stage, individually or collaboratively. Omnimov is also available for class credit under the title Dance 199. More info►

Blck Chorus

Black Chorus

Nationally renown, this chorus is constantly in demand to perform both on and off campus. The choir's repetoire includes gospel, anthems, spirituals, and other traditional and world music venues. Black chorus is available for class credit unde the title Music 261. More info►

Women of Color

Women of Color

Women of Color is a registered student organization that works to
empower Women of Color through workshops, programs and their annual
conference held annually in March.
