The 100 Strong program strives to promote high academic achievement, community building, and leadership in order to retain all African American students in a culturally relevant fashion.

Black Congratulatory

The Black Congratulatory Ceremony is held every year to honor the African American graduates on the Urbana campus. The BN-AACP recognizes students of African descent receiving bachelor, masters, PhD, or professional degrees in a ceremony reflecting the African American tradition.
