Diversity & Social Justice Education Advisory Committee
The purpose of the Diversity & Social Justice Education Advisory Committee is to review, evaluate, and make recommendations regarding the policies, programs, resources and services of Diversity & Social Justice Education.
The committee assists Diversity Ed in the creation transformational education spaces to improve the campus climate and promote critical thinking both within our university community and in the greater society.
The committee also provides advice and recommendations regarding resources related to the support for the office, including budget, personnel, and facilities. The committee should seek to enhance the goals of the Diversity & Social Justice Education by supporting the educational, cultural, social and developmental needs of students, and of advancing cross-cultural awareness on campus and in the wider community.

1 ex officio member (Director of the LGBT Resource Center)
The committee will meet approximately monthly throughout the academic year.
Staff board members will serve for a maximum of three consecutive years. Student board members will be appointed for one academic year, with the option of serving for a second year.
