Illinois Leadership Coordinating Committee

The overarching work of the Illinois Leadership Coordinating Committee is to provide counsel and direction for the Illinois Leadership Center, a Student Affairs/Academic Affairs partnership, which provides leadership programs, services, consulting, and a certificate program for students. Specific charges are provided to the full committee each fall by the Provost and the Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs.

Typically the full committee then forms into working groups to address the specific charges. A student advisory group is also formed from the full committee. The 2006-07 working groups focused on civic engagement, assessment, research, and strategic partnerships. The foci of the 2007-08 Illinois Leadership Coordinating Committee will be determined by the charge provided the committee in the fall of 2007 by the Provost and the Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs.

Roster

2 undergraduate student members
8 student representatives from each undergraduate college
30 faculty/staff members
