Asian American Cultural Advisory Committee
The purpose of the Advisory Committee is to review, evaluate, and make recommendations regarding the policies, programs and services of the Asian American Cultural Program. The committee also provides advice and recommendations regarding resources related to the support for the cultural center, including budget, personnel, and facilities.
The committee should seek to enhance the cultural center’s goals of supporting the educational, cultural, social and developmental needs of students, and of advancing multicultural awareness on campus and in the wider community.
Two students from thsi committee will serve as representatives on the Student Cultural Programming Fee Committee, which is charged with evaluating applications for use of funds generated from the Cultural Programming Fee. That committee will make recommendations for disbursement of those funds to the Associate Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs.

Time Commitment
The committee meets once a month, on a Monday from noon-1:30pm. At each meeting the staff will provide the committee with descriptions of the various programs that have taken place at the center or with the center's support.
In addition, student committee members will meet to evaluate applications for the Student Cultural Programming Fee once a month on a Wednesday from noon-1:30pm.
