Service Fee Advisory Committee
The committee advises the Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs on the Service Fee, the Health Fee, and the General Fee. Each year, the Committee reviews the proposed budget for each fee-supported unit within Student Affairs. The advice and recommendations generated are transmitted by the Vice Chancellor through the Chancellor to the President of the University and to the Board of Trustees whose approval is required. The committee is the single greatest opportunity for students to directly impact the level of fees and the quality of services which these fees support. To ensure the broadest student representation, student members may not serve on both the Service Fee Advisory Committee and the Tuition Policy Advisory Committee.
