Senate Committee on Student Discipline

The Senate Committee on Student Discipline appoints student and faculty members to serve on its subcommittees on student conduct. The subcommittees are empanelled to hear alleged violations of the student code and to assign the appropriate sanctions. Those selected will participate in an intensive training program and will participate in regularly scheduled hearings. Appointments to this committee are made on an annual basis and the selection process begins in the early spring.

Roster

12-15 student members
6-8 faculty members
4 office staff members (ex-officio)

Time Commitment

Undergraduate Committee meetings occur every Friday from 1-5pm, however, members generally only serve one day a month. Members have the ability of selecting the days that they will serve.

Graduate Committee meetings are scheduled on an as needed basis and generally less than 5 times a year. Hearing last approximately 2 hours.
